Parking and Charging Booking Agreement

Updated 22 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-22-v5

Version 2026-10-22-v2. Your confirmation and the version saved with your booking form part of this agreement. Review these terms before reserving.

Your booking and the parties

The named host supplies the booked parking space and any selected charger access. The driver contracts with that host for those services. Drive2park Ltd (company 17529688, 27 Wordsworth Gardens, Aylesham, Canterbury, Kent, CT3 3LY) supplies the marketplace, booking and payment-arrangement service under its platform terms. Each party remains responsible for its own obligations. The host’s declared private or trader status, where supplied, is shown before reservation; otherwise it is shown as not yet declared. Selecting a label does not override the legal test or remove applicable consumer protections.

When the agreement starts

The host authorises Drive2Park to accept bookings for the availability and prices they publish. A reservation is a temporary hold, not a confirmed booking. The booking agreement takes effect when payment succeeds and the booking is confirmed. If confirmation is delayed after a payment, contact support rather than paying again. A failed or expired unpaid reservation grants no right to use the space.

What is included

The confirmation identifies the host, driver, space, vehicle, arrival and departure times, parking price, any selected charger-access period, platform service fee and total. Times are UK local time, including daylight saving. Only the agreed vehicle and booked period are included. There is no automatic renewal or right to occupy a space beyond that period. Follow the saved access instructions and the advertised size and access restrictions.

Host responsibilities

The host must have authority and all necessary permissions to offer the space, keep it reasonably safe and accessible, accurately describe it, and make it available for the confirmed period. The host must notify the driver and Drive2Park promptly of access, safety or availability problems and take reasonable steps to resolve them. Listing approval does not certify ownership, insurance, planning permission or electrical safety.

Driver responsibilities

Use only the booked space and comply with lawful, clearly disclosed access instructions. Do not obstruct access, cause damage or nuisance, or use the space for unlawful activity. Remain responsible for the vehicle and its contents and keep your contact and registration details accurate. Leave by the booked end time. Extra time requires a separately confirmed paid extension, subject to availability; no undisclosed automatic penalty is authorised by this agreement.

Optional domestic charger access

Charging is included only if separately selected and priced. The confirmed charging period starts at arrival and may be shorter than the parking stay. Only eligible dedicated Type 2 domestic charge points are supported; three-pin sockets and extension leads are not supported. Follow the charger and vehicle instructions and stop if unsafe. A power rating is not a guaranteed delivery rate, energy amount, full battery or price per kWh. A parking extension does not extend charging. If agreed charging cannot be supplied, report it promptly for an appropriate remedy.

Cancellations, refunds and problems

The cancellation policy selected by the host and saved with this booking governs ordinary changes of plan: flexible gives a full refund at least 24 hours before arrival; moderate at least 48 hours; strict at least 7 days. Otherwise an ordinary change of plan is not automatically refundable. Host cancellation or failure to provide the booked space entitles the driver to a full refund, including the driver service fee. A failure limited to charging is assessed for an appropriate partial or full remedy. Statutory cancellation rights and remedies, where applicable, take priority over these deadlines. If a statutory cooling-off period applies, you request the platform service to start immediately and the booked service to start at its booked time, including within that period. If you cancel under that right after a service has started at your express request, a proportionate charge may be payable for services supplied, where the law permits. The right to cancel a service can end after it is fully performed with your express consent and acknowledgement. Contact support to exercise statutory rights; an ordinary cancellation quote does not determine those rights. We do not claim that all parking or charging bookings are exempt from cooling-off rights. Contact support promptly if you cannot enter or find the space unsafe.

Consumer rights and liability

Where a host acts as a trader and the driver is a consumer, applicable consumer protections apply to the host’s service. A private host arrangement may have different consumer protections; Drive2Park’s own obligations remain. No party excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. This agreement does not promise insured parking, security supervision or cover for vehicle damage. Each party is responsible for loss to the extent required by law.

Changes, disputes and governing law

Keep this agreement and your confirmation. The saved terms and price apply to the booking; later website changes do not alter it retrospectively. Contact support@drive2park.com for booking problems and use the complaints policy for unresolved issues. English and Welsh law applies, subject to mandatory protections and court rights in the UK nation where a consumer lives.
