Cancellations and refunds
Updated 22 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-22-v5
This page explains the platform’s ordinary change-of-plan cancellation settings. Your booking’s saved policy and refund quote apply to that booking. These settings do not override statutory rights or decide complaints about a service that was not provided.
Before you pay
Check the selected space’s cancellation policy, dates, times and full total, including the driver service fee and any charger-access period you select. A booking is confirmed only after payment is verified. A temporary reservation or a return from checkout is not itself proof of payment.
The cancellation policy is saved when each booking is made. A host’s later policy change does not rewrite that booking. Extra-time reservations have their own payment and saved policy.
Ordinary driver cancellations
- Flexible
- Full refund when cancelled at least 24 hours before arrival.
- Moderate
- Full refund when cancelled at least 48 hours before arrival.
- Strict
- Full refund when cancelled at least 7 days before arrival.
Open your booking and choose Cancel / view refund to see the amount before confirming. The full-refund calculation uses the amount paid for that booking, including the driver service fee, less any refund already recorded. The cut-off is measured from the booked arrival time. Booking displays use UK local time.
Below the ordinary cut-off, the self-service quote may show no automatic refund. That is not a determination that you have no legal entitlement. You can request a review, including where retained sums would exceed the loss reasonably incurred or the space can be rebooked. Any cancellation charge must be lawful and fair; the platform’s quote is subject to those requirements.
Host cancellations, unavailable parking or charging problems
If the host cancels or the booked parking cannot be provided, report the problem promptly to support@drive2park.com with your booking reference. Do not use an ordinary change-of-plan cancellation to resolve an unavailable or materially misdescribed service without asking support to review it.
Host-initiated cancellations require a full refund of the affected booking. Where selected charging cannot be provided, report it so the appropriate refund or other remedy can be assessed, including the affected charging amount and associated service fee where appropriate. Routine cancellation cut-offs do not remove rights arising from non-performance, misdescription or a failure to provide a service with reasonable care and skill.
Statutory rights and disputes
Any statutory cancellation right or other consumer remedy that applies takes priority. We do not state that every parking or charging booking is automatically exempt from a cooling-off period. The legal position can depend on the contract, the service and whether its supplier is acting as a trader.
For a statutory-rights request or a disputed cancellation amount, use the complaints route. Keep your booking reference and evidence. Do not send card numbers or passwords.
Refund processing
Approved card refunds are processed through Stripe towards the original payment method. A refund may be pending before the payment provider confirms success, and bank posting times vary. The booking shows the recorded refund status. Contact support if it fails, is delayed or the recorded amount is wrong.
