Host Agreement

Drive2park Ltd, trading as Drive2Park.

Registered in England and Wales. Company number 17529688.

Registered office: 27 Wordsworth Gardens, Aylesham, Canterbury, Kent, CT3 3LY.

Booking authority and host details

You can list and host without completing the tax-details form upfront. You remain responsible for your own tax registration, reporting and payment deadlines. Read the guidance and provide accurate information when requested in Host details and tax. Tell us whether you act privately or as a trader, reflecting your actual activity. You authorise Drive2Park to accept bookings on your behalf for the availability and prices you publish under the Parking and Charging Booking Agreement. You remain the supplier of parking and any selected charger access.

Keep your information current and cooperate with reasonable identity and tax checks. We collect, verify and report host information where required by HMRC digital-platform rules; this is separate from your tax allowance and Stripe payout checks. Read the host income and tax guidance. Existing bookings retain their original terms.

1. Host Obligations

By listing a parking space on Drive2Park, you agree to:

  • Own the parking space or have explicit permission from the owner to rent it
  • Provide accurate and complete information about your parking space
  • Maintain the parking space in a safe and accessible condition
  • Honour all confirmed bookings unless exceptional circumstances arise
  • Respond promptly to driver enquiries and booking requests
  • Comply with all local laws, regulations, and insurance requirements

2. Listing Verification

All parking space listings are subject to verification by Drive2Park. We reserve the right to:

  • Request proof of ownership or permission to rent
  • Request additional photos or information
  • Reject listings that do not meet our quality standards
  • Suspend or remove listings that violate our policies
  • Conduct periodic reviews of active listings

Your listing will not be visible to drivers until it has been approved.

3. Platform Role and Liability

Important: Drive2Park is a booking platform only. Hosts supply the parking they list; Drive2Park provides marketplace, booking and payment-arrangement services. This does not remove our own legal duties.

Each party remains responsible for its own legal duties. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing here removes applicable consumer rights or excuses a failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

4. Pricing and Payments

As a host, you:

  • Set your standard and optional weekday/weekend prices, daily caps, weekly/30-day packages and named-date overrides in Rates and packages. These are host-selected prices, not automatic holiday uplifts. Follow the pricing policy for package eligibility and keep continuous availability for the full booked period. Set any separate hourly domestic charger-access price. Drivers choose a charging period starting at arrival; it is not automatically the full parking stay.
  • Agree to the host commission shown for the booking: current standard 12%, EV 12% and event 12%. The host fee applies to parking and selected charger access, so you keep 88% of your price before your own costs and tax. Drivers pay a separate 8% service fee, minimum 79p and capped at £9.99 per reservation. Platform fees include applicable VAT, and standard processing/Connect payout costs are covered by Drive2Park. See our pricing policy; existing paid booking prices are unchanged
  • Receive payouts through Stripe, subject to account verification, available funds and the payout schedule shown by Stripe; no fixed bank-arrival period is guaranteed here
  • Are responsible for declaring income to HMRC and paying any applicable taxes

Earnings Disclaimer: Earnings are not guaranteed and will vary based on location, pricing, availability, and demand. Drive2Park makes no promises about income levels. Any earnings estimates provided are illustrations based on stated assumptions, not evidence of typical income.

Domestic EV charging responsibilities

Only dedicated Type 2 charge points at private domestic driveways or garages are supported. No three-pin sockets, extension leads, unknown chargers, public pavement cable routes or commercial/public charging sites. You must confirm the current safety and permissions requirements, maintain installation evidence, check suitable insurance and electricity-tariff terms, and provide clear access and cable instructions. Listing approval is not electrical certification.

Follow the EV charging policy and pricing policy. Stop offering unsafe or unavailable charging and notify support about affected bookings. Statutory consumer remedies take priority over ordinary cancellation deadlines.

5. Insurance guidance

We recommend discussing paid parking and any charging activity with your insurer and considering suitable cover for your circumstances, including:

  • Public liability insurance
  • Property insurance
  • Commercial insurance if required by your insurer for rental activities

Suitable public liability cover is recommended, rather than a universal Drive2Park requirement to buy a new policy. This does not remove any insurance obligation imposed by law, your insurer or your property arrangements. You should inform your insurance provider that you are renting your parking space. Drive2Park does not provide insurance coverage for hosts or their properties.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Emergency repairs to the parking space
  • Legal or safety issues
  • Natural disasters or other force majeure events

Frequent cancellations may result in suspension of your hosting account. Drivers will receive full refunds for host-initiated cancellations. Notify support promptly rather than treating this as an ordinary driver change of plans. Use booking contact details only for the booking and related legal obligations, not unsolicited marketing.

7. Reviews and Ratings

Drivers can leave reviews after using your parking space. Reviews are public. We may investigate and remove fake, unlawful or misleading reviews and other policy breaches. Do not offer undisclosed incentives for reviews or publish another person’s private information. Maintaining high ratings and positive reviews is essential for attracting bookings.

8. Legal Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring that renting your parking space complies with:

  • Local planning regulations
  • Property lease or mortgage terms
  • Lease, restrictive covenant and management-company rules where relevant
  • Tax obligations
  • Any other applicable laws or restrictions

You should check ownership permission, lease and mortgage conditions, insurance, planning rules, tax and any electrical-safety requirements before hosting. Drive2Park’s listing review is not a legal, title, insurance or electrical-safety certification. Our own legal duties remain unaffected.

9. Prohibited Activities

As a host, you must not:

  • List spaces you do not own or have permission to rent
  • Provide false or misleading information about your parking space
  • Attempt to collect payments outside the Drive2Park platform
  • Unlawfully discriminate against drivers
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices

10. Account Suspension and Termination

Drive2Park reserves the right to suspend or terminate your host account if you violate this agreement, engage in conduct deemed inappropriate, or receive consistently poor reviews. We may also remove individual listings that do not meet our standards.

11. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Host Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be notified appropriately and apply prospectively, with any acceptance required by law. Existing bookings retain their saved terms.
